The Band Toto Asia

Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an attempt to return to the classic sextet format and a more consistent, stronger album with a sharper edge. The more edgier sound of Turn Back was a reflection of the growth of the band. Drummer Bobby Kimball's increased virtuosity was reflected by the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had become more confident and mature. David Paich's keyboard skills were also more sophisticated, sharper and less akin to earlier efforts.

After touring to promote the album, the band recorded a live concert in Amsterdam which was released as a two-CD set entitled Falling In Between Live on Eagle Records.
