Line-up

The album's third, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet style of previous albums. It was a more powerful, consistent effort that had a harder edge than Hydra. Its edgier sound reflected the maturation of the group, with drummer Bobby Kimball's increased proficiency on the drums, as well as a more confident, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams.
