The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do to identify your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best robot for vacuum and mop-rated robots. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice, or opt for two detailed maps of your home to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even remove pet hair with ease. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating in your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as stairs and other barriers, and also to clean your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best budget robot vacuum mop robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to scrub the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce minimal noise, meaning you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it before moving forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial if you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best mopping and vacuuming robot performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best robot wet mop known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot vacuum cleaner robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor creates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a range of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It can build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. While these features are nice to have however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, you'll find one button that basically serves as the on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station. The center of the control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
