The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a excellent option for those looking to combine the advantages of a French-door refrigerator's aesthetics with an efficient layout. Its capacity is higher than average for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a little less than the best counter depth refrigerator that comes with an ice maker, which makes it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a good choice. In my tests, I discovered that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in different parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge did not vary significantly from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a solid performance but isn't quite at the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat in order to get more accurate readings on the internal temperature of your fridge.
